Little Hearts

So I made it! After several rearranging of flights, I made it to Chennai safely and spent a day with my friends there before moving on to Nellore, India, home to Little Hearts Orphanage. Last night I got to spend some quality time with the children at Little Hearts who spend a lot of time singing and generally just rockin' out.

I decided to bring along the materials to make a flower out of some tissue paper and pipe cleaners. After a brief demonstration the flower making began!




And here are some of the results.... aside from the flowers themselves, the "fuzzy sticks" we used for the stems became a project all unto themselves.


Being assaulted with flowers! There are worse things.


New watch anyone???? They're actually quite cozy as far as watches go.
